2023 is coming to a close and we’ve got one HELLUVA send-off planned for you! The final details are being meticulously sorted by our awesome team and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. Here’s what you should know before ya go:
First and foremost, taking care of yourself and those around you is the raddest way to bring in the new year. Treat other guests, venue, and staff with respect and compassion. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE protocol for any discrimination, hate, or predatory behavior. If you see something that is not right, please contact a security or staff member and we will attend to the situation accordingly. We are dedicated to creating a safe zone to celebrate and connect.
Getting there:
-The address to Coasterra is: 880 Harbor Island Dr, San Diego, CA 92101
-Event begins at 9:00 p.m. and will end at 2:00 a.m.
-We highly recommend using a using Lyft or Uber, we suggest checking the schedule function on the app to schedule a pick-up. Parking on-site becomes very difficult and valet fills up quickly. Please allow yourself plenty of time to sort a ride. The views we get to experience are incredible, it will be well worth the trip.
Checking In:
-9:00p.m. doors
– Valid 21+ IDs only / have valid ticket ready at check-in
-If you are over intoxicated, you will not be admitted
-No ins and outs
-For a prohibited item list, please reference our FAQ page. Early arrival is suggested. We have a diligent staff prepared to get all guests in promptly and safely.
Dining at Coasterra:
-Coasterra offers a New Year’s Eve dinner sitting that can be enjoyed before the event. Chef Joe Paulden has created a delicious 3-course menu and reservations can be made HERE (dinner service is separate from Chic N Freak NYE)
Bar Service And Restrooms:
-We are working closely with Coasterra staff to ensure numerous bars and bartenders in every room of the event (we have added 2 bars to the layout for speediness)
-Restrooms are located in front of the entrance and on the barge.
Set Times:
-3 rooms of music
-CHIC is the main ballroom, FREAK is on the barge, and Bag N Boujee is in between those two stages. Each stage will have a unique audio/visual experience.
Coat Check:
-Coat check will be available after you enter the event, the price is $7 (card preferred)
Weather Forecast:
-12/31 is looking like it will be roughly 60 degrees with no precipitation…yay!
-The venue is over 50% outdoors but there is a roof overhead with heaters.
Purchasing Tickets from 2nd party sellers:
-Be careful with purchasing tickets from 2nd party sellers, make sure you trust the seller, we cannot guarantee they are valid or not already used.
The Afterparty:
Afters is located about 10 minutes from Coasterra and will go until 5 a.m.
-The address will be announced Sunday evening via email.

If for some reason you are unable to attend, you are able to transfer or sell your ticket to another guest. (There is a strict no refund policy as described in the ticketing page and FAQ for several reasons and we appreciate your understanding of this policy.)
